Bridging the Gap supports that very important first step for alcoholics who have just been release from a hospital, treatment center or correctional facility. By providing a temporary contact, Bridge the Gap helps newcomers make the transition to Alcoholics Anonymous into his or her home community.

The Primary Purpose of the H & I Telephone Service is to assist any individual that is completing a Treatment Program or being released from a Corrections Facility to reach members of the AA Bridge the Gap program so that they may find a member of Alcoholics Anonymous to take them to their first AA meeting.
